  1. Empower Teams: Agile teams must be empowered to operate autonomously while remaining accountable for positive outcomes. They must also have the authority to make decisions and resolve challenges emerging in their way without waiting for a senior’s approval. Independent agile teams can react rapidly to changing circumstances and rapidly iterate solutions.
  2. Prioritize Goals: As the agile teams are given enough leeway to decide how to get certain work done, it is equally essential for them to prioritize goals. Each individual in the agile team must understand how their tasks contribute to bringing positive results. An effective team shares resources to meet its goals and have a unified vision.
  3. Monitor Progress: Seamless communication is vital for a team’s success. Recurrent check-in meetings or daily stand-ups allow team members to keep everyone updated about the progress so far while keeping their focus intact to achieving the end goals.
  4. Review Performance:  Even if the teams regularly meet and state their goals or share struggles, it is essential to reassess their performance consistently. The review is like an autopsy that helps in identifying what went wrong, where and why.
